My Friends Rock!

I have been so blessed though my life with amazing girlfriends.  I know girls aren't the easiest to get along with but for some reason I have been blessed with low maintenance friends.  What is a low maintenance friend?  I friend that loves you no matter what!( Yep put a few of them though that test, LOL) We might talk everyday or once in a while but that never changes the fact that we are friends to the end.  We just pick up where we left off.  No one ever takes offense to that. We all help each other out.  I am very grateful for this!

Basketball, Basketball, Basketball-We Love It!

Yep, I am one proud basketball mom. This has been such a great season for Tanner and his team.  It is all worth it to get to see all of his games and watch the boys improve and play as a team.

This season we meet amazing parents and kids.  I don't know about you all but some season aren't as good as others, LOL.

I can't believe haw much Tanner loves this game and has a genuine interest for it.  Usually he losses his focus fast. We can thank his coach he has done a great job with the boys.

Playing tonight and if they win on to the championship Monday!

5 Hour Babysitter!

My kids thought I was so cool when I told them I knew how to cook play-dough, LOL.  We cooked a batch up together and I am not kidding they played with it for 5 hours.  So I thought this might be something fun to share.  Tanner made this huge race track for his lego motorcycle.

Make Your Own Play-Dough
Play Dough Recipe

You'll need:
Flour 3cups
Salt 1 1/2 cups
Water 3 cups
Vegetable Oil 2TB.
Cream of tartar 1TB.
Food coloring few drops or unsweetened "Kool-Aid" 1pkg.
Mix ALL of the ingredients in a large saucepan.
Cook over medium low heat, until the dough comes away
from the edges of the pan and it becomes difficult to move the spoon. Remove from heat. Cool until it can be handled.
Place on counter or wax paper knead 3-4 times.
Store in an air tight container.

I want to get on a airplane and fly to Haiti!

This has been a crazy week.  My head is till having a hard time understanding the mass destruction.  Watching TV and seeing clips posted on the internet.  I never in my life seen so many people hurting, I mean actually watching it unfold.  Facebook and twitter have been tools to at least help out is a small way and not feel so helpless.  I have been so impressed and amazed by how many people who are reaching out. the two charity that I endorse are almost over 100 k since tuesday.  That is alot of people doing what they can and it is adding up.  I love the texting your donations, that seems to be getting everyone involed. That warms my heart.  My kids are thinking of ways they can help.  They have been giving up their small luxury's.  I have been torn by what to show them and what not to show them but I do want them to see and feel like even their action can help those who need it. They are contributing along with the world. I know we haven't seen the wost of it.  There is so much work to be done!

Back For More Abuse--But I Love It!

Ok I dusted of my wave today.  I bought it on one of those late night shopping infomercial deals.  Trying to get my moneys worth.  You know the Gym before the Gym concept LOL. (I need to get in shape so I can play Wii with the kids) Today is the day I started my new years health goals.  No more late night candy binges.  I told Cali to get ready to do the wave, next thing I know she showed up in her swim suit top, sweats she has grown out of and  vest of some sort.  They didn't match but she did look good.  She stuck with me through the full work out.  I have a feeling I am going to be soar in the morning and I am sure Cali will be just fine. Max just kept laughing at us, he thought we where nuts!   ~Jodi

Great Game!

We picked up the Wii game Just Dance at Target on New Years Eve and we can't stop playing it!  Chris is even dancing to it!  This is a riot.  I thought I was a serious competitor until I hurt my back.  Tanner is the winner so far but Cali and Max are a close second.  We have 4 controllers going and the neighborhood in our living room playing this.  I will post some video later so you can all enjoy.~Jodi

2009 What a Year!

Today is the last day of 2009 and I started reflecting back on the year. If I would of know what was going to happen this year I don't know if I would have shown up (lol).  Talk about going though the refiners fire. What a learning curve.  Most of you know I have been doing multi level marketing for the last 7 years and have been very successful at it.  This last year I got to see the dark side of the business and It wasn't pretty. I really got to see the business and the smoke and mirrors.  I now have a greater appreciation for this industry. I would be lying to you if I told you I hate mlm but the truth of the matter is I do truely love it.  There are some great companies out there with the fields best interest in mind. you really do have to partner with the right company, right trainer and right team.  Then you do have an opportunity.  My mentor Dani told us that there is no such thing as residual income.  it is a myth.  I thought she was crazy when I first heard that but she is very wise.  It is true.  Once you make the money you need to invest it.  A mlm company is just a cash cow.

2010- The rebuilding year.  I really want to be a million dollar earner this year.  YES I am putting it out there ha ha.  I have a plan and I am excited to execute.  I have learned a lot and I'm excited to see the results.  I know God has a plan and I am ready, Cheers to 2010!  ~Jodi
